Sunday Services

There is a service each Sunday at 9:30am

Our services use Church of England worship resources, known collectively as Common Worship. There are four different types of service that you might encounter:

  1. Holy Communion: This is a traditional service in which bread and wine are shared as a way of remembering what Jesus did for us. Communion Services are led by an ordained minister.

  2. Service of the Word: This is a service which focusses on readings from the Bible. These services are sometimes known as 'non-eucharistic' or 'lay-led' services - because they can be led by ordinary church members.

  3. Extended Communion: We have special permission to hold communion services using 'reserved sacrament'. This is bread and wine that has been 'consecrated' at an earlier service. These services will only happen if an ordained minister is unavailable.

  4. Special Celebrations: Things often get a little different at Christmas, Easter or other special occassions...
